Richard Caplan returned to his roots in Harrow in 1990 to set up Caplans, having acquired many years of experience of a wide variety of legal matters whilst working in larger practices in London. Richard dealt primarily with commercial property but his extensive knowledge of the law enabled him to broaden the area of expertise that the firm now offers.

We appreciate that our clients have the need for clear, frank and sound legal advice and that often this advice is required at a moment’s notice. The advice is given with an entrepreneurial flair and a good measure of lateral thinking delivered where appropriate with a sense of humour which our clients seem to appreciate.

Despite having expanded in recent years into additional areas of the law, we believe we retain a personal touch with our clients and that this is a key element in the continued success and growth of the firm
